Bonny Hills

Just a short trip South of Lake Cathie, Bonny Hills boasts some of the best coastal views in the region. It is home to the stunning Rainbow Beach, which is popular for swimmers and all surfers of all ages.

Bonny Hills was originally home to the fishing enthusiasts amongst the tough, north coast timbermen and dairy farmers from nearby Wauchope and hinterland. The old wood fishing shacks of the past are long gone, replaced by homes and holiday parks with million dollar views. Bonny hills is a pristine beach town 25 minutes drive south of Port Macquarie. Life in Bonny Hills is centred around the beach and is a step back from the faster pace life of Port Macquarie.

You often see the locals hanging out early morning at the main beach (Rainbow beach) to discuss the surf conditions before heading out. Beaches, lakes, mountains and many National Parks are on your doorstep.
