We are looking for an experienced Reservations Manager to join our team per mid / end March 2025.
BACKGROUND
Join Beachscape Holiday Rentals, the local leader in luxury rentals. Beachscape is a boutique real-estate agency, we manage 60+ holiday and short-term rental properties along the greater Port Macquarie coastline, from Port Macquarie, Lake Cathie, Bonny Hills, North Haven, Laurieton to Dunbogan and Camden Head. We make guests and owners happy every day with outstanding customer service and quality accommodation. We are the only agency with Airbnb Superhost status in the region, our services rate 4.8 out of 5 consistently. Our sister brands Beachscape Property and Lake Cathie Bonny Hills Real Estate focus on leasing/property management and property sales.
Due to continued growth and business restructure, we are looking for an experienced Reservations Manager. This role has the potential to change into a leadership position to head up the holiday rentals division.

- Work from office in Lake Cathie (80%) and your own home (20%), our office is located in the Woolworths Complex in Lake Cathie
- Full-time position, includes weekend work; rotating weekend on-call roster every 4-5 weeks. Full-time position will be Sunday - Thursday (days can be discussed). Part-time applicants may be considered.
- Small, friendly, dedicated team. The holiday team consists of 4-5 people; in total 8 office staff, with sub-contractors 20 people.
- Individual development and specialisation in the areas of your interest.
- Maintain and build out your skills, Beachscape will invest in training relevant for the position.
THE ROLE - Core responsibilities include:
Responding to guest and property owner enquiries (phone and email)
Managing and processing reservations and housekeeping activities
Taking credit card payments, process and manage bonds including claims
Performing daily check list of arrivals / departures
Making properties ready for guest arrival, ensure quality standards
Creating and managing online listings (e.g. Airbnb, Booking.com and other online systems)
Performing price / revenue management and competitive analysis and implement changes
* IDEAL * Assisting in back-end process / IT optimisation and creating new efficiencies
TEAMWORK - Work with the holiday team on:
Coordinating cleaners, laundry, trades
Organising and coordinating maintenance & repairs
Managing and reviewing guests satisfaction
Owner and team communications
Initiating and leading special projects
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE has:
A positive attitude, energy and initiative
At least 1 to 2 years experience in a similar role
Strong proficiency in IT systems, i.e. Reservations software programs, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, OneDrive, Sharepoint etc). Social media and video editing abilities are a bonus.
Good verbal, written conversation and listening skills
Resilience to operate and thrive in a dynamic environment
Ability to prioritise tasks and trouble shoot
Diligence and eye for detail
Local knowledge of Port Macquarie and Camden Haven
Ability to work independently as well as in teams
Experience in managing others is a plus
A friendly, happy demeanour and shows respect and ethical behaviour
A reliable car and valid drivers licence
Certificate of Registration in Real Estate or full Cert IV Real Estate licence is a plus
