Miners Beach is a blend of large pebbles and fine light sand. It is one of the few beaches accessible only by foot, via the coastal walk or through Sea Acres reserve.

The beach almost entirely disappears beneath the incoming waves at high tide. Swimming should only be contemplated by those knowledgeable of the waters because of the risk of rip currents.  Miners Beach has no showers or toilets, with the nearest located at Spooky Beach car park.
