Arrival Details - Taranaki Beach House - Port Macquarie

Taranaki Beach House – Apartment 1/11 Lord St, Port Macquarie NSW 2444,

Step 1.  If you stand in front of the building on Lord St, Taranaki Beach House is on the ground floor. Walk over the grass* towards the path on the right hand side of the building. You see a garden gate to your left with Beachscape Holiday Rentals sign. Go through the gate and look towards the left sliding doors. The key lock box is located on left hand side brick wall. Use lockbox labelled 'guests'. Put the code in and pull the black lever down to open the box. Use keys to open the sliding door to enter the apartment.

* NOTE - alternative walk way if you wish to avoid walking over the grass: you can talk the pathway on the left hand side of the building and follow that path all along the building until you reach the garden gate with holiday let sign. This is a longer walk, you enter the path on left hand side next to the mailboxes, keep walking til the end, you will path the building front door on your right, keep walking, at end of path turn right and go through lattice style gate, you are walking in front of the garages, at the end turn right and start walking towards Lord street, you see the garden gate on your right hand side with Beachscape Holiday Rental sign.

Step 2. KEY LOCKBOX. Use the lockbox labelled ‘guests’, enter the code provided via SMS: 1260. Take keys out and close the lockbox, change the dials so code is not visible to strangers.

Another key set plus garage buzzer can be found inside the apartment on the kitchen bench OR hanging on key rack located on the wall on left hand side of kitchen bench towards the courtyard sliding door. If you can't see the second key set please look inside the welcome tray with 'things to do' cards.

We advise to place one key set back into the lockbox, so you can never lock yourselves out.

Step 3. PARKING / GARAGE / STREET PARKING. To find the garage, walk out of the courtyard and turn left, follow garden path til you hit the garage doors. The door straight in front of you is garage number 1 door. Use key to open garage door, use buzzer to open roller door.

Drive around the block and enter the garage on ThirtySix Lane.

Note the garage fits normal/smaller type cars only as the garage is not deep enough for long vehicles.

There is free street parking on Lord street in front of the building.

Step 4. CHECK-OUT on departure day is 11am. When leaving, please make sure the place is tidy, aircon is turned off, windows are closed, washing up is done and packed away,  rubbish has been placed in the outside bins.

Upon departure, please leave key set 2 on the kitchen bench or on key hooks. Place the other key set back into the lockbox.

THINGS TO KNOW

AIRCON the aircon in dining area feeds the whole apartment. The aircon above the TV in main lounge is out of use, as the new aircon in dining is larger size and does is designed to do the whole job.

SKIP BINS are at located at the front of the building, near the mailboxes.

ARRIVING LATE – KNOW YOUR WAY  If arriving late e.g. after 7pm, please make sure you have all information regarding address and key, as we may not always hear the phone, especially during weekends. We generally pick up til 7pm and after 7pm for emergencies only, however we enjoy some family dinner time too as we are a small business. Thanks for your understanding.

FOOD  Please note that food service in restaurants and food delivery in Regional NSW stops at around 8.30pm-9pm.  So please make prior arrangements or stop at a supermarket along the way, Coles and Woolworths are open til 9pm at night.  Nearest supermarket:  Coles Short Street, Port Macquarie.

KEEP NEIGHBOURS HAPPY. Noise is to be kept at a minimum after 10pm. Any callouts will incur a $100-$150 fee.
